Nancy has had a passion for horses for as long as she can remember, having grown up attending pony club rallies, camps and competing at the local riding club. Originally based in the midlands she has recently fulfilled a life long dream and moved down to Devon with her horses.

Nancy has worked on a variety of professional yards including racing, eventing and showjumping, as well as competing up to foxhunter herself. Gaining extensive practical experience and a wide knowledge base within the equestrian industry, which she now brings forward into her saddle fitting.

With equine welfare at the heart of everything Nancy does, She is constantly striving to learn more. Completing regular continuing professional development and working closely with other equine professionals in order to help each partnership reach their potential.

It promotes the wellbeing and good husbandry of horses engaged in sporting, leisure, and work activities by striving to be the world-wide authority in the empathetic and correct use and fitting of saddlery.

Using a Society of Master Saddlers' Registered Qualified Saddle Fitter assures knowledgeable and professional service of the highest standard. As the most influential professional body in the world connected with saddlery, the Society has put enormous effort into improving saddle fitting standards including instituting what remains the only non-commercially linked saddle fitting qualification in the world.

In order to gain a Society of Master Saddlers saddle fitting qualification candidates must have gained at least three years experience within the industry before even under taking the assessment course. Candidates must then achieve no less than full marks in order to pass the final examination and be able to call themselves an SMS Qualified Saddle Fitter. Once qualified members must complete compulsory CPD and attend a refresher course every two years in order to keep up to date with industry standards and remain registered.
