• An evaluation of your horses conformation, skeletal structure and movement in hand in relation to saddle fit.

• Templates are taken and recorded.

• A discussion of your requirements, and saddles and tree types that are likely to work for your horse.

• A selection of saddles will be tried statically, and the most suitable selected for a test ride.

• A test ride in which the best saddle for you and your horse is selected, and any additional alterations are made to ensure the perfect fit.

• After your appointment you will be sent a comprehensive evaluation and a copy of your horses templates.

Approx 1h-2hrs

• An evaluation of your horses conformation, skeletal structure and movement in hand in terms of saddle fit.

• Back templates are taken and recorded for future visits, so that we can monitor changes in condition.

• Your saddle will be checked for symmetry and faults.

• Your saddle will be checked statically on your horse, and any necessary alterations made.

• A ridden assessment of your saddle, findings discussed and any additional alterations made.

• After your appointment you will be sent a comprehensive evaluation and a copy of your horses templates.

Return within one week

• Your saddle will be taken back to the workshop where the panels will be dropped off and old flocking removed.

• Whilst stripped back an assessment for faults in the tree will be carried out.

• The flocking will be replaced with high quality jacobs wool and the panels re attached.

• On return of your saddle a full static and ridden assessment will be carried out, as with a standard check of an existing saddle.
